Light the Night Lancaster/York is on Friday, October 4 from 5:00-8:00pm at the John Wright Restaurant in Wrightsville, PA. We are looking forward to celebrating with those who are beating cancer, appreciating those who are supporting a loved one, and remembering those who are no longer with us. We will see you there!

 

 

 

 

Everything you "Need to Know" about Lancaster/York Light the Night 2019!!

 

 

Date:       Friday, October 4, 2019

 

Time:     5:00pm (Registration begins)

               7:15 Opening Ceremony Begins

               7:30 Walk

               8:15 Watch fireworks from the Veterans Memorial Bridge/State Route 462

 

Location:   John Wright Restaurant

                   234 N Front Street

                   Wrightsville, PA 17368

 

 

**Please note: The Veterans Memorial Bridge will be closed to traffic beginning at 7:00pm**

 

Parking: Limited parking is available in the grass lot next to the restaurant parking lot. Once this is filled, parking is available near the restaurant on the street. As a courtesy to the customers of the John Wright Restaurant, we ask that you please do not park in the restaurant lot.

 

Walk Length:   We will walk to the halfway point on the Veterans Memorial Bridge/State Route 462

If you are unable to physically participate in the walk, please still join us! You will be able to see fireworks from the venue, as well as from the bridge.

 

Day of Event Donations: Cash, check, and credit card options

If you are bringing cash and check donations to the event, they may be turned in at registration.

 

Champion for a Cure: Participants who raise $100, or are a patient/survivor, will receive a t-shirt and entry to the food tent.

 

Bright Lights: Participants who raise $1,000 will receive "Champion for a Cure" benefits, as well as an exclusive Light the Night Dry Fit Long Sleeve shirt.

 

Food/Drinks Available for Purchase: The Pizza Patio at the John Wright Restaurant will be open for our event

 

Recommended Footwear: Closed-toed, comfortable shoes

 

Misc: Please consider bringing bug spray, flash lights, and a lightweight jacket/rain gear.

 

No pets allowed other than service animals.
