What is a Bright Light?
Bright Lights are outstanding Light The Night fundraisers who drive the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) forward by individually raising $1,000 or more. In 2017, National Capital Area Bright Lights raised over $1.4 million for the cause!
Due to the generosity of one of our partners, LLS will receive an additional donation for each Bright Light! Last year, that totaled over $80,000 for our mission!
Bright Lights receive special recognition and exclusive gifts in honor of their extraordinary efforts in the fight against blood cancer:
- Personalized fundraising support from the Light The Night Walk staff
- Exclusive, long sleeve Bright Lights Club t-shirt;
- Recognition on the Light The Night website and social media;
- Recognition at the Walks;
- Invitation to & recognition at the Light The Night Awards Party in February, 2018.
