REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN
Are you a Champion For Cures? If you individually fundraise $100 or more, you will be a Champion For Cures and will receive a wristband at check-in that entitles you to a Light The Night t-shirt and access to the food and beverage area.
As always, patients and survivors are automatically Champion for Cures and are welcome as our guests regardless of their fundraising.
EVENT FEATURES
LANTERNS: Light The Night lanterns are the iconic symbol of our event. Every registered participant will receive a lantern: gold in memory of those we’ve lost, white for survivors and patients and red for supporters of our mission. Be sure to pick up your lantern at check-in or inside the event site before the new Light The Night Ceremony begins at 6:45pm! All participants should be in view of the stage at that time.
PATIENTS & SURVIVORS: During a special moment in the new Opening Ceremony, patients and survivors will be asked to move toward the center of our event site with their white lanterns, where a special Circle of Survivors will take place. We will recognize patients and survivors during the ceremony, so if you are a patient or survivor please click HERE and tell us why YOU Light The Night.
REMEMBRANCE PAVILION: The Pavilion will be open all hours of the event (except during the Light The Night Ceremony). You’ll be able to spend a quiet moment thinking about those we’ve lost and connect with your fellow participants. Bring photos of anyone you’d like to honor to place on our Remembrance Boards - we’ll have markers and paper for you to leave messages of hope and remembrance.
GARDEN OF HOPE:
Our Garden of Hope will be presented by Snug Harbor! Branded plants serve as a symbol of growth in cancer research. Friends & families will be provided space to write messages to loved ones battling cancer. Click HERE to purchase your plant for a suggested $20 donation.
WALK: The walk will be 0.75 miles in distance throughout the campus of CSI.
