Share why you Light The Night

Please use the following tools to help guide your social media activity for your Light The Night participation, but please personalize and share your own stories, photos and experiences as much as possible.

Three lanterns, millions of stories

Use these graphics or your own photos to share your support for Light The Night on social. Each lantern color represents why you walk:

Gold lantern: Remembrance of people we have lost

Red lantern: Support for people facing blood cancer

White lantern: Survivorship and people diagnosed

Best practice

  • Hashtags should be used sparingly. They no longer significantly impact discoverability but can help connect posts to campaign-specific conversations.
  • Use 1-2 branded or campaign-specific hashtags per post when relevant.
  • Avoid using generic hashtags that don't tie directly to the campaign.

  • Utilize stickers such as polls, questions, countdowns, etc. to generate more engagement and views.
