Top executives in the community are invited to come together and network with their peers.  Connected leaders will share their personal stories and the importance of finding a cure for blood cancers. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.  When a loved one hears the words “you have cancer,” it is a dark and scary time.  LLS’s Light The Night brings light to the darkness of cancer through hope, research and support for patients and their families.

Also, cancer costs the world more money than any other disease -- $895 billion dollars.  So tackling and working to eradicate cancer is something I want to be a part of for both personal and professional reasons.
