At age 2, Garrett had back pain, wasn't eating as he should and was having trouble sleeping and walking. At the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) it was discovered that Garrett's bones were very fragile and he had very high levels of calcium in his blood. After 4 days at the hospital and countless tests, Garrett was diagnosed with leukemia. Garrett immediately started chemotherapy. Since that day Garrett has proven to everyone around him just how strong he really is, and to never give up. As Garrett continues the fight of his life, he is counting the days till he is cancer free in December 2015.
