Throughout the winter of 2016, Jack kept coming down with colds, pneumonia and other viruses. As soon as he got over one illness, he would come down with another. After several weeks of doctor visits, a bone marrow biopsy confirmed Jack had acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). In March 2016, he began a three-year treatment of chemotherapy and other drugs. Today, Jack is in remission! Jack and his family eagerly await May 23, 2019 when his treatment will end, if no relapses occur. Jack has a joyful spirit that is evident even through hardship with his infectious smile. He loves to move, listen to music, watch movies, do puzzles, read books and play with his toys.
