From Mary Jane:

Thirteen years ago I was diagnosed with Large B-cell non- Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  After surgery, chemotherapy and radiation and the support of my family & friends, I have been in remission since 2006.  What a blessing that is.  I am so grateful.

At the time of my diagnoses a new drug, Rituxan had been developed for NHL.  I have always felt that this drug was my “saving grace”. So raising money for patient education and services, and especially research has been a top priority for our team- Pletcher Family & Friends.

We have continued to support LLS and LTN over the years with various fundraisers from Team in Training, creating and selling cookbooks and scarves, to running marathons and now creating a quilt.

I am thankful to my friend, Eileen for her support, expertise and vision in helping me create and construct this T-shirt quilt made out of the past 13 years of LTN shirts.  I am hoping to inspire other survivors to continue to persevere and always be hopeful, and to pay it forward.
